Datel Batteries - the difference?

OK, I was about to buy a Datel Tool Battery, when I realised there are two types; Datel Tool Battery and Datel Battery Service Tool.

What I understand is that the first is basically just a pandora battery but the second you can change it to use it as a pandora but also as a normal battery - I found that here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9IG65XiNVk (This will be perfect for me as I screwed up my old battery and need a new one).

Can someone confirm this for me or correct me?

The Service Tool turns YOUR battery into a pandora, then back again. so if you do not have a battery at the minute, it will be of no use to you.
