PC players seem to handle imperfections better than set top boxes. At least in my case. If the source media has some problems playing in my Sony set top box, those same issues seem to be passed on to DVDs I rip. I was under the impression that those glitches are not carried over but I guess not. However PC players seem to be more forgiving. Why is that and is there a set top box that can handle quirky media like that of a PC player?
