Help with unlocking my Nokia 6101 B

Hi can anybody provide instructions to unlock my Nokia 6101B.
The provider is Rogers Wireless and I'm in Canada. I want my phone to work on Fido.
The IMEI is:358838/00/499758/2

Remove SIM first.

If nothing happens, code stays on the screen:
Put in a NEW SIM from a new Network.
Power on.
Select UNDO with NEW SIM in phone.
Enter code as above.
Select OK.
If it does not work, tell me: What happened? What message
you got. What codes you tried.
Above all, answer.

After I enter the code, the message is: Phone restriction on.

I have tried the code that you provided once.
But I have also tried other codes given by other people including yours with a total of 4 tries.

That is the code for that phone.
If you enter the same code two times,
that is two tries.
You can try this once.

No, this code did not work either.
The message was the same as before; Phone restriction on.

If the same error appears either your phone is unlocked already or it is hard locked.
Codes provided by Joe are correct!
Remove Your Sim Card, Power The Phone On
Press # From The (Insert Sim) Screen
Enter codes WITHOUT spaces.
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #

No it isn't working.
The same message appeared after I entered the code.
I even tried putting in my new sim card after I entered the code and it isn't working.

What happens when you insert a foreign sim ?
If it says "phone restricted" then your phone is hard locked. If on the other hand it accepts the new sim but you receive no signal, then your mobile is unlocked, but, you are in an area that does not support your phones frequency..

Ok it says phone restricted when I put in a new sim card.
But when I press the "Undo" button, it gives me a box letting me enter a restriction code.
So I would not be able to unlock my phone now cause it is hardlocked?

No. You only get 3 to 5 tries at using a code.
After that, you need hardware.
Take it to a shp.

Hi, I have a Nokia 6101 IMEI 351856013867460 and I need to get my restriction code so I can use sim cards from other companies with my phone. Basically I want to know how you get the #pw+XXXXXXXXXX# code and what exactly does it do. Thanks!
