1) Using latest Alcohol 120 build?
2) ASPI layer conflicts? ASPI 4.6 is most stable
3) What pc protection is on your backup?

You can still play the backups of Safedisc 2.7 in your cd burner by using emulation m8. Open Alcohol 120>general>options>emualtion and enable "ignore media type& bad sector emulation". Now min imize Alcohol 120 to system tray (statup) and play your backup in your burner, not your dvd\cd-rom. What name& model cd burner do you own? Do you know if your cd burner is a "2 sheeper" or a 1 sheeper"? (Counts sheep....)

It's a "possabilty" that Alcohol 120 doesn't fully support your Ben-Q dvd burner m8. Try Blindwrite 5 5.1 as an alternative. Be sure that when you install the ASPI Layer 4.6 (exe) to reboot your system, then run ASPI check to see that all drivers read 4.6.

Blindwrite 5 5.1:http://www.vso-software.fr/download.htm
ASPI 4.6 (exe): http://www.aqsg72.dsl.pipex.com/TOOLS/ASPI4.60-1021.zip
