Okay, so I just got a psp from my brother, he gave it to me with a 4gb Sony memory stick, problem is, when I put my game it, it seems to freeze when the game says "checking memory card". Does anyone know what the cause might be?
And what happens then?Does it boot you to xmb menu or the game then plays?If the game not plays, so it boots in xmb menu, press triangle under memory stick and select information and then if there will not says ˝MagicGate Supported˝ then you have fake memory stick.
Also you put in a ISO game or a UMD game?
It is a UMD game, and the game basically doesn't do anything, once it's checking the memory card, it just stays on that screen, but I can still go back to the main menu. I suspect it could be a fake car, as my brother got it from a "friend" cheap. I purchased a sandisk card today and it works now on one of the games, but the other it is still faulty, but I suspect that the game could be dodgy...I'm not sure.
