I'm having a problem backing up my workout dvd. I tried using DVD Shrink with Anydvd, latest update. I've also use DVDFab Platinum and it will freeze up my computer. I also use the ImtooDVD ripper and that froze my computer also. Now i'm stuck on what to do next. I hope somebody have an answer, thank you in an advance.

could be a hardware problem or confliting software.

are you using a box system? and what are the specs?

or

it could be a bad/scratched/dirty dvd causing the problem

I'm sorry about when I said about the computer being frozen. What I meant to say is that the program would read the dvd but wouldn't proceed to read it. For an example, DVD SHRINK has an error reading the D drive but I can burn other rented dvd. DVD FAB would read the dvd but it would sit at 50% and would move at .01% every hour. Maybe somebody else have a different program that I can use to back up the dvd. Thanks in advance.

We can't and won't help or discuss backing up anything you don't own; including rented dvds!

I'm guessing it must be the dvd, since you said you can backup rented dvd's. I have the same workout dvd as you, made a copy a few years ago with dvd shrink just fine. Instead I made an ISO first with DVD Shrink, then I burnt it with IMG burn.

We can't help with titles you don't own...rent and burned discussions are not allowed.
