I have about 30 smaller quicktime files that I wish to convert to divx so that I'm able to play them on my DVD player, which supports ac3/xvid/divx/svcd etc.

Anyone know any tools that I can use? Or how I can go about this?

G'day mate,

I have a digital camera that records movies in Quicktime. I convert them into DivX so I can play on my XMS-888 MPEG 4 player, works great! The software you need is EO VIDEO 1.36 and you can download a demo from here: www.eo-video.com

Hi,

Me again. I just downloaded new software to convert MOV files, it does the job even BETTER than EO Video. It's called MPEG4 DIRECT MAKER I downloaded version 4.0.8 Build 18 and it works a treat!! Be carefull, you MUST have Quicktime 6.5 installed and choose CUSTOM and make sure you select the AUTHORING option. Oh, it plays MOV files a hell of alot better than what quicktime ever did, fullscreen as well.
