XBox 360 Audio thru computer?

My 360 elite is connected to an LCD monitor through HDMI. I also use the monitor for my computer, which is connected through VGA directly from the monitor to my video card (ATI Radeon 9800XT, if it matters). I have a Logitech Z-5500 [url=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121120][/url] with two KRK Rp5's [url=http://www.zzounds.com/item--KRKRP5][/url] filling the front left and right channels. They are connected through an RCA splitter with the left and right channels plugged into the light green outlet on the back of my soundcard. The soundcard is a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2.

I want to be able to use the 28" LCD monitor which has speakers (tinny and hollow) with my 360 but also be able to route the 360 audio through the Logitech Z-5500 and KRK RP5's so I get the full surround experience. The monitor has several audio inputs. Also, if I have to use the left and right speakers that came with the Z-5500, this is fine, I can just disconnect then reconnect the KRK's when I produce. However, I would prefer that the KRK's be used, because they are much better than the Z-5500 speakers.

Note: All the Z-5500 satellite speakers go through the subwoofer which has all the different inputs for them. It also has a control center which everything connects to as well.

The Elite comes with an audio dongle. Use that and buy the right adapters to plug into the "mic" port on the soundcard.

I already have the RCA splitter from the front right and left channels going into that port.

If your already using the audio dongle that came with the 360 then you should be ok. I use it for my 360 because the HDMI goes into the receiver (for surround sound) and the audio dongle goes into my TurtleBeach headset so i have sound there as well.

If it is hooked up right then it will work.

How am I supposed to use the audio dongle? Where would I plug a red and white RCA combiner into the back of my sound card (Sound Blaster Audigy 2). The good thing is, the sound card is capable of upmixing stereo sound to a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound environment. Please explain though.

Composite switcher. You can get them all over for really cheap. Here is an example:

It will allow you to put up to 4 composite audio devices into one input on your sound card. then you just use the switch depending on which one you are using.
