Possible to remove wii modchip?

hey guys
have a small question:
i got my wii and it was modified, is it possible to remove the modchip ?
if so, will i then be able to upgrade normally and stuff, cuz im thinking abt removing it once i get original copies of RE0 and RE1 remake of gamecube, please leave a reply.

Yes you can remove a modchip by desoldering. But why do you want to remove it?

You can do that now. You don't need to remove the modchip to upgrade or play online or anything else you want to do. The modchip is totally undetectable and, with some chips, doesn't even activate when playing original games. Meaning, when playing original copies of games, you basically have an unmodded wii.
