Bricked PSP- Questions

I have a bricked PSP and a Pandora Battery/ Memory Stick with Ultimate Installer v4. I am able to get to all the menus when I start my PSP, I go to the:

Load Pandora Extended Menu

I select Fix flash1:/
After I select Go to Pandora Main Menu ms0:/update.pbp

Once I do that, it asks me to remove the Pandora battery and put in a normal one. At that point, my power light stays orange and the PSP doesn't respond. I know it must be something simple I am missing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Take out the battery and plug in the charger. Turn it on. Does it turns on ?

No, it shows a solid orange power light. I can go to the xmb and see the fw is 3.90 m33.
