CycloDS, Is this the best card to buy??

Hi,
I am just about to order a CycloDS for my son and was wondering how long it will last.
I heard the R4 has been shut down so there will no longer be updated firmware etc so was wondering if the same may happen to the CycloDS people and I wont be able to get the firmware needed to use it or will I not need regular updates?

The other card I was looking at was the M3 but I think the CycloDS is more well known/reliable, is this the case?

Nintendo is on a war path with R4 and other flashcard makers (see Afterdawn News tab) so no one knows how long will any flashcards will last.
Dont know why R4 website is down, maybe Nintendo is on their case. Cyclods is touted as one of the best, but to me its a bit expensive compare to Supercard DSone since both have very similar funtions and supports.

What card would have the easiest set up to get it going?
I know with the R4 you have to drag and drop the running files from a disc to get it going is that the same with all of the cards and I will get a disc to start them?

all the flash card nowadays are drag n drop and are very easy to setup. some dont have cd included so you have to download the firmware from their website. you can read flash card reviews at gbatemp.net.
i suggest you get one that is awarded a 'Golden Award' and uses micro sd memory as storage rather than a built-in one.
