I have real noob question that shows my ignorance.
My _NEC DVD+RW ND-1000A writer only supports 2.4x write speeds, and I was wondering if 4x write speed media will be compatible.

Can I also get an opinion on the following media from http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_FOR_DVD_R_RW_CLICK_HERE.html - Datawrite DVD+R (2.4X)at £15.98 Including VAT for 25 spindle pack and FWS (2.4X)DVD+R at £15.98 Including VAT.

Thanx fasfrank, i don't have any firmware updates so i'm presuming DVD burners work the same as CD burners. I know this is a hardware question and doesn't belong in this forum but do I need the firmware updates for my burner.

Once again has anyone used these FWS disks because the ad says anyone who uses them will come back for more.
