Hey Peeps,

I recently modified my xbox using an executer 2.6 mod chip running the Evox 3985 dash, I have the latest XBMC and am loving the advance scart lead optical sound! Loving the retro gaming also.

To house all my new data (videos music roms etc) I decided to upgrade my HDD to 500GB. I did this remembering to change the cluster size (using a partition app forgot the name) to avoid HDD corruption.

Phew, weeks later all sorted, my mate is round and was so impressed he wants one for himself!

Im thinking I can help him out but he isn't technically minded and would get sick before figuring everything out i.e. hrs reading tutorials finding out how to use FTP etc...

so HERE IS THE QUESTION: "I understand that the file structure on an XBOX is different to a PC (FATX compared to FAT32 or NTFC) What I want to do is copy my current modded xbox HDD onto another suitable HDD ready to put straight into my mate's machine, effectively cloning the entire HDD! As long as I have the hardware ready to accept this new HDD (BIOS changed etc) then the machine should be ready to go using a copy of all those hours of hard work I put into my HDD.

I really dont fancy copying everything over using XBMC filemanager (stops after a certain amount of data so you have to watch it - takes hrs) or using FTP upload cos that'd take days!

Please can anyone help me? there must be some program that'd let you copy directly from one FATX HDD to another or a way of connecting them up in a pc or something. Im worried about just trying it though because I have so much valuable data to lose (like 300gb)

If anyone has any ideas on how to clone my oversized xbox HDD I would be most grateful.

P.s. xbox as a media centre rules! :):)
