Converted an Mpeg file to avi..
looks ok, the Audio is the problem.
the audio plays slowly, like what you would hear if
it were played in slow motion.
Yet its not. Video plays normal, audio slow.
Anybody have this problem & able to correct it?
Any advice would be appreciated...thnx

Don't know about Dr Divx.

If you wish to see if this works, you can demux the original audio from the MPEG with Avidemux, then use this to replace the bad track in the AVI.

Load/drag the mpeg onto Avidemux.

On the top menu, click 'Audio' => 'Encoder' => 'Lame mp3', then 'Audio' => 'Save'.
Save the audio file with a new name and extension, E.G. audio.mp3

Note that I assumed the mpeg has an .mp2 audio stream - if it has an mp3 stream you don't need the encoder step.

Quit/restart Avidemux and open/drag the AVI file.
Click 'Audio' => 'Main Track' => 'Audio source' => 'External mp3' => OK

On the top menu click the 'Save' logo (floppy disk)and give the avi a new name with extension, E.G. new.avi

I'll definitely try it. the mpeg file is part of a movie.
gonna be tedious doing this to all 5 parts.

It won't work;I was assuming that the source was one file.
