I've tried to rip a dvd but "DVD Shrink 3.1" gave me this error..."failed to read file, data error, cyclic redundancy check"??...I also tried using DVD Decrypter, and got an I/O error as well...does anyone know how to get around this??...thanx

Try starting your movie in PowerDVD and while it's running, open Shrink, minimize the movie until it starts to rip - you should be good to go by then :-)
