Ok, first time poster obviously but I have read a few threads that have been helpful in the past so I figured I'd ask my question here. I don't know if this is the correct forum because it might not be a Nero problem...
I'm using Nero 7 w/ smart start btw.
So I've been burning DVD's for about 2 months now and I haven't had a problem. But the past two days I have been getting this message "Please insert a disc to write to" when I try to burn a project (Nero will transcode the project but when it gets to writing the content onto the disc, it spits it out). At first I thought I got a bad batch of discs so I bought a different kind and the same thing happened. This time I thought I got the wrong type so got new ones and still the same thing... I tried downloading the firmware for my driver (NEC DVD+R/RW ND 1100a) but nothing changed. I can't figure out what happened and it's really bothering me.. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the help. I found out that I can only use a certain type of disc. I bought the last ones that worked and it worked fine... Is this because I my drive is out of date or because of the DMA settings?
