Wii Serial # LU325604***

On that one webside i guess my Wii is GC2-D2C
And my "drive pins" are probably not cut.

I'll be honest I got no clue what any of that means
but i was looking at Modcentral.com and there is TONS of modding stuff
so bascially i am looking for someone to help me with regards to how this goes about?
Im used to PSP modding... Firmware and downgrades..nice and simple
I keep reading about

"Homebrew Channel"
"Wii Keys"
"Tylight princess hack"
and a thread about downgrading

so whats the best route to go?

PSP -> 2.60 TA-082 + 2.71 - 1.5 + 3.03 OE-A + OE-B + OE-C + 3.52 M33 - 3.40 OE-A + 3.52 M33-4 + 3.71 M33-4 + 4.01 M33-2 w/ 1.50 k = dropped 1ft and lost my PSP permanently

Modchips: For D2C Chipset: ARGON/Infectus 2/D2CKey/D2CPro/D2Pro/Wasabi

Homebrew Channel: If you get a modded wii, you can use the HB Channel ISO

Wiikey: You have a D2C Chipset, so forget wiikeys.

Twilight Hack: Is the slow way of installing Wad files, HB Channel etc.
But unmodded wiis can do it.

So your saying...if i don't modd my Wii, i can use that hack?
bah...im going to assume buying the stuff needed to chip it is better?

I seen there was a DD2Pro9 V3 + V4C WiiClip + Triwing Screwdriver
Worth it? or shhould i just solder it all my self.

Chipping it is better

Tried looking at the wiiclip

Im pretty sure I got the name wrong, but you pretty much insert the chip in the wiiclip then it just snaps on to the dvd drive with no soldering

Im sorry the names escapes me

I enjoy going down to the store, and spending money on blank dvds.

If your not good at soldering then the D2Pro9 V3 + V4C WiiClip is your best bet.

All you do is snap it on the drive chip (There should be an option when you buy the Modchip and WiiClip to have them solder the chip to the clip. Would be worth choosing that option).

There have been some issues with the WiiClip option but I would think that percentage is low with the amount of WiiClips that have been sold.

Of course paying someone to wire install the Modchip would be more stable but you also have to send your Wii in to a trust worthy installer and will be without the Wii during instillation.

As for the Modchip the D2Pro9 V3 is compatible with all drive chips out there so you should have no compatibility issue there.

Be careful where you order from. All of modchip sites are just a big scam. However Modcentral.com is one of the best and most trustworthy.
