so i installed my D2Pro and when i clicked on the disk channel to load my backed up version of mario kart it said that it needed to perform an update and that it had detected an unothorized device and performing an update may make my wii inoperable.

anyone had this problem? i thought these were undetectable?

Everyone gets that warning. Nintendo just added that to scare users off from using Modchips.

It actually does not detect Modchips and will not do a thing to system or Modchip if you update it.

yeh I think I have a d2lite but have yet to encounter this. Maybe i dont have the latest firmware. Dont plan to until it's needed lol
