I heard you can play mpg files on xbox360, but when I plug in my usb hardrive, my mpg videos won't show up, avi is recognized though, but it tells me to get on XBox live in order to play it, can I play it without going to Xbox live? Any ways?

oh i agree with you, its pretty bad when i have to put freaking vista back onto my desktop so i can stream movies since i have to be on live to play avis and i dont have the net at home....
