Would there ever be the possibility of running a dvd with psx iso files on it on the nintendo wii??? Or would that be too much for the wii to handle?

Too much to handle? You've been talking to the ps3 fanboys too much. The wii is roughly twice as powerful as the gamecube which in turn was more powerful than the ps2.

So theres no reason that it couldn't be done, but I dont know if anyone is working on a wii psx emulator yet. I know someone has a semi-working psp emulator for the wii, but no psx.

I actually know somebody who is working on a PSX emulator for the Wii. Dunno how long it will take though. But with the development in Wii hacking/homebrew so far it's not impossible.

I just wanted to play final fantasy 7 on my wii! I still have the game but no system to play on. Thought that would be sweet.

Xbox and Wii seem pretty close in specs and Xbox has a working PSX emulator. I would think Wii would be able to pull on off too.

A wii is more powerful than a xbox. But you could really tell, since they have about the same graphics.
