Where is a good Cogswap tutorial? Swap Magic Elf for?

Anyone know where a guide is to cogswap like how to set up the memory card? Also might be a different topic but, what is the SwapMagic Elf file used for/how do i use it? I have never softmodded (besides SwapMagic) a PS2 before only hardmodded a few. Mine is hardmodded right now, but i bored n figure i want to mess with cogswap since i hear it so often but never tried it.

EDIT:Dang tried this many times n now i found out that it doesn't work on slims but it is patched.
