Provider the phone is locked to( not what the current sim is) : 3 network (Aus)
the missus just bought a used 6280 which was supposedly UNLOCKED for the ridiculous price of $100 from ebay, long story short, turns out that the phone is actually locked to 3 network.
Anyways, we got some codes to unlock it and they dont work. We even spoke to 3 and got a HELLp desk in india.......
They gave us a code but it wouldnt unlock the phone. We made sure it was exactly as she told us before we finalised it.
Can anyone suggest anything??
She (the indian help desk) told us that we need to take it into a 3 network store, but the nearest is only 600+ Km away so its not possible to go there, the seller (obviously knew it was a proplem) and wont refund, if she cant get it working its a pretty expensive toy for our baby.
Hope there is a local phone shop you can take it to.

We are unable to do these .
BB5 type phones such as 2600c,3110c,5200,5300,6085,
6280,6300,6500,6630, 6680,6681, 6682 or
any N-Series phones,N-70, N-90 or E series,E50,E60 etc
or Tracfones can not be unlocked by this method for
use with another Network. Not yet.
Only the original service provider can provide a code to
unlock them. Our Calculators can not do codes for these.
Be careful.
I understand that you only have three chances. If you
hard lock the phone by entering wrong codes, not even
the original Provider can unlock it by code. ALSO These models cannot be unlocked as yet by this method.
