Burning speed stuck!

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong topic, not quite sure where this belonged.

Anyway recently my sony DRU 510a has decided only to burn at 4X

I managed to get it to burn at 1X once in the last 2 days, but since then even when selecting "min" on Recordnow Max, and 1X on Nero, Both programs finish burning the disc in about 15mins(4X), nero even reports that it is burning at 4X!

Has anyone else had this problem? and can anyone help please?
