Hello everyone, you can refer to me as Blast. I stupidly downloaded OFW 4.05 when all of a sudden a 1gig Pro Duo fell into my lap. I have a fat 1001 PSP and here is what i know, i need a magic memory stick, i need Pandora battery, and i need software to download from 4.05. I do not want to hardmod my battery because i do not have the necessary appliances and they don't ship the tool to my isolated community. Is there any way that i can softmod my battery into a Pandora? The only person that i know has a Pandora lives 2 hours away so that is out of the question. What files and programs do i need to make a magic memory stick? Thank you for the support and please, help a brother out!
I keep on reading about hardmodding my battery and it sounds dangerous and extremely hard (risk of PSP exploding )! If I was to hardmod, what should I use to lift up the pin (houeshold utensils please)? If I just waited 3 months wouldn't somebody find a better way to do this?
That thread should have the guide and all the files you need to make a Magic Memory Stick. I used it on my 1GB Sony Pro Duo stick and it's worked fine.
Now, the Pandora battery, all I can honestly suggest is see if you can buy yourself the Battery Service Tool. It's a little black device powered straight from your battery that should convert it into a Pandora one. I bought one and used it on my official battery... it's worked with no problems. Downgraded my PSP FAT from 3.95 to CFW3.71!
FYI, I got my Battery Service Tool off Amazon, if that helps at all.
