TA-082 downgrade/upgrade

I am currently an unlucky owner of a TA-082 PSP and I am trying to upgrade it to 4.01 firmware. The highest firmware I had on it was 3.52 M33-4 (I think) and was unable to upgrade it any further. After reading all the TA-082 threads I thought I had found a way to upgrade it further. I have a Pandora battery and Magic Memory stick and downgraded it to 1.5. I then upgraded to 2.71 SE-C with no problems. But when I try to run HEN-D so that I can follow all the TA-082 downgrade guides, I only get the blue screen and never a green screen. Should I Pandora it back to 1.5 and then upgrade to an official 2.71 and try the process again?
Oh, and if I restore default settings it bricks!
Getting a little fed up with it now and considering using it AS a brick...

why not install Despertar des Cementerio v6 from D_A's site on your magic memstick (since you have pandora battery) - this will install 4.01m33 straight off

the ta82 is no longer a problem mobo - the ta88v3 is the problem since it is pandora proof
