well theres some thought's i've been having....I saw on a post somewhere about putting codebreaker onto the mc with free mcboot....but i'm wondering most people have said ar max or ar max evo only work's on a cd-r idk...I have a copy on a dvd-r and it work's perfect,so if I make another copy of my dvd-r ar max patched with the esr patcher and then successfully load it with free mcboot 1.5 would I be able to go through the screen's process of choosing my cheat's and then putting in the game I want to play through a method? should I look at a guide on here? i'd like to know

I've been wondering the same thing...Have you found a way?

millmakin,

How did you get a copy of ARMax onto DVD?

Cpeh,

I know it's possible if you have an original Swap Magic disc, or if your ARMax has the Media Player built-in. But both of these methods require using either the swap trick or flip top to swap for your backup disc. What I'm interested in, is finding a way where you don't need to use any of these swap/flip top methods.

Well, I have and original codebreaker 8.2 disc, and already have freemcboot (freevast) and ESR installed on my memory card, I know there is a way to get codebreaker onto the memory card to allow cheats while playing an esr patched ps2 game.

Apparently, if you have a DVD version of ARMax that is patched with ESR patcher, Free McBoot will boot it no probs...but, it will hang at the Launching Game screen.

Cpeh,
Do you know how to reconfigure the Free McBoot menu? For example, take out HDLoader and replace it with something else, like CodeBreaker?
