i just royal screwed up my d2b chip....i dremeled it back way too far i beleive after hours and several attempts at sodering....what can i do as a alternitive methode

Not to kick you when you're down, but maybe a professional modder can salvage it.

Otherwise you're looking for a new Wii DVD-ROM drive.

ok it still will play the wii games but it is close to being shot no alternitive method

you can buy any of the universal modchips; d2pro9, wiizard or wasabi and it'll work fine.

all of those chips have different and easier soldering points compared to earlier generation modchips.
