I'm having a problem trying to get a video to play on the PS3. I covnerted the mkv to a m2ts format, and changed the video level to 4.1 but it won't play. Funny thing is, I can fastforward and see the entire video, but it just won't play.
I followed the guide as directed on here.
....but the guide fails to mention HOW to burn the files to disc. I'm using Nero, and I was wondering if there is a particualr way you have to burn, such as udf 2.5, etc. I'm after wasting 5 DL discs :(

M2TS right? What program did you use to convert to m2ts because the PS3 can play m2ts. I can vouch for that since I watch anime on it. Could you list what you did here? Maybe that way I can get a better idea on how to help you. Peace.
I used Tsmuxergui, selected M2TS Muxing for the output, changed the video from 5.1 to 4.1 and I hit start muxing. I have my PS3 networked to my PC, and it wont find or show that M2TS file at all. I burned the 2 files mentioned to DVD- UDF and like mentioned, and it wont play at all.
Well, that kinda worked....but not really. I renamed it to a WMV and the PS3 picked it up this time. But same problem, it wont play, I can fast forward and see the entire movie, just wont play :(
