I'm running Nero 6.6.0.18 got a new drive it can with Nero 8 it will not install over 6 unless I uninstall 6 I'm guessing the bundle nero 8 has the lightscribe program ? Or is there a better or different program

If the installation cd came with lightscribe AND Nero 8 on there, you can install lightscribe without Nero 8. That's what I did with my external burner I got for my laptop.

sorry my bad I thought I started a new thread but what I wanted to know is the light scribe on the bundle Nero 8 or is there a better program for that ? Or can you just install that part and keep nero 6

go here and get the lightscribe software for free and I believe it will install in Nero 6. That's what I was using in my old pc. Lightscribe will be a disappointment if you never have used it before. Since it's monochromatic be sure to use a B&W pix with good contrast, instead of color and the product will be better.
