I've been searching throughout the forums and could not figure out whether or not it is possible to make a memory stick and install 1.5 firwmare iusing official firmware and datel tool battery. I got different response from different people saying you need Custum firmware in order to make the memory stick, and other people saying its possible to make memeory stick without custom firmware.

Here is a video I recently seen that claims its possible for 3.90 firmware to make memory stick while using detel tool battery to boot into service mode. Is it fake?

you can make the mms without custom firmware. you just need the right installer.
