i have a kinda big problem...i have a wireless router for my pc but my psp internet doesnt work because there is now a WEP key on my pc.i do not know the WEP but i was able to obtain the SSID,ipaddress,subnet mask,default router,primary DNS, and the secondary DNS too.it connects but nothing loads and after about 30 seconds it says "Connection to the server failed.A DNS error has occured.(8041040F)...what does that mean and how come i cant use my internet on my psp? is the WEP key so important that i can not use my internet even though i have everything else needed?please if there is anything anyone can do please help me out of this jam.

The wep key is like the password that allows you access to this forum.

Without it you can't log in, and so you can't do anything.

Luckily for you the wep key is pretty easy to get hold of, ususally the default wep is printed onto the adsl/dsl router box. Provided they haven't changed the default wep key.

The PSP will not tell you if you got the wep right or wrong, it wil just give you a dns error so make sure you enter it carefully and slowly.
