There is so many new modds for the 360 and im just looking for the best opinion on the better modds out there. where i can simply backup and transfer to pc as simple as i can and still be able to use live. im from the old days of the regular xbox and im not up to date and the new ones so askinf for some opinions nicely thank you

ixtreme is the best firmware but u can still get banned no one is 100% safe

the easiest way is to buy a Pioneer DVR 111D DVD Burner that is flashed with a firmware called Kreon. It will read the xbox 360 games onto your pc without an xbox. I bought mine off of ebay. All you do is pop the game into your pc and then run a program call xbox backup creator and it will dump an iso to your pc. The program will even burn the game for you to.

Only Kreon drives i know of are Samsung drives. And so you know they are all DVD-Rom which means they only read, so you will still need a dual layer burner in your system to make back ups of original discs.

But those drives are the easiest way to do it.

if your going to attempt to give advice, please make sure you know what you are talking about first. the 111d is strictly a burner, it cannot be flashed with kreon FW. that is only for like 4 specific samsung drives such as the shd-162c as well with another IDE version and 2 sata versions of it.

sorry smooth i typed in Pioneer because this is the burner i have in my pc. I should have typed Samsung as steimy mentioned below.
