How to run UMD Movies from MS 3.52 M33?

Hello Everyone!

I've been having a fat TA-082 PSP running 3.52 M33 for some time now, but I've only played ISO games from my MS so far. Now, I want to download some movies and play them from my MS. I know that I can convert movies into MP4 and run them from the VIDEO folder, but my question is:
Can I download ISOs (or any other file type) with UMD Movies and run them just like ISO games? Where should I place these files?

yes, upgrade to 4.01 M33

Reformat your Memory Stick via PSP. Put your ISO in the ISO/VIDEO folder. After, click select and enable the ISO Video Mode thingy

ok, i got it ;)

but is it possible to run those ISO movies without upgrading my fw ver? i mean, 4.01 is quite new and i'm not so sure... i'd rather keep the fw i currently use

Yes, I think it should work on the 3.52 M33

1. Go to your Recovery Mode
2. Click Config and enable the VHS menu
3. Reformat the stick via PSP
4. Put the ISO in the ISO/VIDEO folder
5. Click Select or Home and enable the UMD video mode

NOTE: You MUST have a UMD inside your PSP to run it
