thread title sucks...change it or the thread will get locked

but for info, sadly your only option is pandora to install custom firmware...and if you have ta088v3 mobo then even pandora will not work

1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2

He bought a fat and those are discontinued models and I'm 100% sure its not a ta088v3.

@fgzf you need to buy another battery and hardmod one of them buy a tool battery or buy the tool that creates them.

If you hardmod you can revert it if your semi handy.

Psp hard mod video right here

service tool right here

and the datel tool battery right here

i recommend the second one the service tool because its the same price as the datel battery and it can convert anybodys battery whenever so you could make a profit off of it :]

yes but it requires a soldering iron or after you lift the pin you could press it back down and hot glue it but im not too sure about that.

But you can go to your local game shop and buy a battery

I -really- recommend you get the tool to do it...

I'm a total newb to modding PSP's as well. I just read guides on here, bought the service tool, put my battery in, pressed the button on it... and done!

No hard modding. I put the battery and my newly-created MMS back into the PSP and it booted into service mode. Installed my CFW and I was done. Then I put the battery back into the tool, pressed the button again and could use my PSP as normal.
