According to the IFPI, an accused Finnish file-sharer has settled his case for an undisclosed sum of money.
The man, from Helsinki, had had his internet connection disconnected after the Copyright Information and Anti-Piracy Center (CIAPC) requested an injunction from the Helsinki District Court. The man was accused of uploading unauthorized copyrighted music.

don't be silly - lawyers fees will be totally separate and on top of this - the "compensation" will go to the Copyright Information and Anti-Piracy Center (CIAPC)

That's the spirit. =p To be honest, I still don't get how people still get caught like this. Like for instance, if you have broadband, all you have to do is say "the hackers did it" and you should be covered (at least by American law I believe).
