Hi anybody,
I am trying to unlock an old phone. Used to be with AT&T, then Cingular, and now back to AT&T. I have a Cingular sim card to put into the phone. The sim card just came out of a phone that broke today.
I tried 1 unlock code and it didn't work. I didn't want to screw things up so I quit messing around with it. Anyway, not to babble, the IMEI # is 010417005066380. Thank you very much in advance for even reading this.

Your code:Try this ONCE and ONCE only. Remember,
you only get 3 to 5 tries.
If you enter the same code two times,
that is two tries.
To enter code:
Make sure battery is charged.
Remove SIM first.
Power on.
Ignore ?Insert SIM?
Press the # key.
then press the "star" key (*) quickly to get the P and W and +
Press * 3 times quickly for (p) \
Press * 4 times quickly for (w) IMPORTANT
Press * 2 times quickly for (+) /
and the rest of the code---
Begin with # and end with #.

IMPORTANT!!
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only have about two seconds.

"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code. STOP tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked.
Used up all your free tries!!

If nothing happens, code stays on the screen:
Put in a NEW SIM from a new Network.
Power on.
Select UNDO with NEW SIM in phone.
Enter code as above.
Select OK.

If it does not work, tell me: What happened? What message
you got. What codes you tried.
Above all, answer.

Thank you so much. It worked. I know it is an old phone, but it is a very durable back up one now until we get another phone. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

Hi All

I have T-mobile Nokia 6010
I wish to use in India
the IMEI No. is 010700/00/215268/7 .. as it is written behind the phone in battery compartment.
Pls help me to unlock the phone
