Heres my problem, stupid me i erases my xbox hard drive before backing up the e and c drives luckily i found a place to download the files for the c drive. But i still need the files for the E drive. What im asking is could someone upload the factory default e drive because otherwise i just get the error 21 when i start up my xbox. thx

Why not just get something like Slayer Auto Installer or AID/SID (auto installer deluxe/ softmod installer deluxe) and use those?

They will set up the hard drive, and reinstall most of the programs that you may have wiped out like XBMC, DVD2Xbox, and others.

Or are you working with an unmodded system?

Im working with a completely unmodded system but I have the 21 error which means i have some missing dash files. i got the xboxhd this and tried a hot swap but i just got the same error.

Do you have your eeprom?

If you do then make a xboxhdm cd with the stock C in C and your eeprom.bin in the eeprom folder. Then you can select option 3 to unlock your hard drive after that you can reboot and make a xbox hd from scratch. It will rebuild your C: and your E: and you'll be all set. Just relock the drive before attempting to put it back in the xbox.

I've done this with several xbox's so i know it works. Even if your E folder is empty it will format the E: and when the ms dash loads it will make tdata and udata.

If you want to easily mod your xbox just throw my cheater C (link located in signature) in the C folder when building the xboxhdm cd.

If you don't have your eeprom then do a hotswap and rebuild the drive from scratch.

Good luck, this is a really simple fix if you follow directions
