i ripped a dvd with dvd decrypter and dvd2one. i used the guide from this site. But the backup only works on my pc not my dvd player whish should be able to boot dvd-r backups.

make sure your dvd player can play -/+ dvd's also if you rip with DVD Decrypter it should work that's how i do mine I also use dvd xcopy plat also dl dvdregion it is free it will knock out any protection you have on your discs and will let you copy and use good luck also it can be your dvd burner some new ones have a protection in them that people don't know about try to stick with a sony it's the best out i also have a liteon it burnes anything
