i have a CFW PSP with 4.01 M33-2. i recently acquired an 8Gb memory card and was wondering how i can play CSO games. i can play most ISO games fine but when i try playing CSO it does not even appear in the PSP Memory card menu. i have placed the games along with the ISO games in the ISO folder.

also, this isn't do with the firmware - rather my memory card. i have a memory card reader connected to my computer and when i try using my memory card in it (8GB) it says there has been an error and that the media may have changed (error 0x80070456).

would anyone know about either of these problems of mine? all help much appreciated.

is it real or is it fake?

and what you can do to try and make them appear is

format the memory stick with your computer when its pluged in go to my computer
right click on the memory card and select format and format to fat32 make sure to back up your saves and files on the memory card first

To add to the above poster make sure the title of the game is short. If there is to many characters in the title it will not show up.

Make sure you don't have a fake Memory Stick.

Go to game Menu Memory Stick and press triangle then go to information.

If it says Unknown or Unsupported under MagicGate then you have a fake Memory Stick and will need to buy another one.

It does say unknown but from the guide i read about it being real or fake, all the other attributes make it seem real. (the memory card was working fine until i formatted through my computer by the way)

ok well just reformat the card with your psp put your csos and isos back on and try again you might have to do this a couple of times to get them working it happens alot with fake cards and usually no matter what if a memory card says unknown its fake the only time it isnt is when you buy it from store like frys, circuit city walmart ect and it says unknown then its just defective and you can return it

if it's unknown, then it's fake. doesn't matter if it runs like a real one, it WILL break down eventually.

It will work up to a certain size.

Once it exceeds that size limit it will no longer show those files.

So lets say it says it is 8GB but it is fake and it really only holds 1GB all files up to 1GB that does not exceed the limit should show. Everything exceeding that limit will not.

You also said it worked before and now it will not show anything. A possibility of why is you transfered a file first that exceeds the true limit of the MS which will not show and everything after that file will not show either.

Try formating the PSP then transfer a small file or your Game Saves over first and see if they will show again.

Buy a new 8GB and make sure you buy from a retail store. You will usually get riped off if you buy from Ebay so stay away from there.

no its not a limit because i tried a cso game less than 1gb and it didnt work. then i had 3 1gb+ games which were iso and all worked. the problem was i formatted and didnt backup everything , but now i copied all files from old memory card and seems to be fine.

it's the memory stick. doesn't matter if you didn't copy everything, because there is no specific file needed to make cso show up.

save the headaches, and get a real memory stick.
