Afterdawn forum members,
This is the greatest day of the 2004 calendar year for any professional sport game in the ENTIRE world.
More people world wide watch the Superbowl than any other sport event. So, lets have fun with this thread and make a prediction and feel free to add your analysis and opinions. I wan't NO arguing,or bad mouthing, name calling. Lets have fun and Let's get ready to rumble", as Michael Buffer would say in the pro boxing world.

New England Patriots 24
Carolina Panthers 21
MVP: Tom Brady or Ty Law

I look for this game to be a close one as long as Carolina doesn't commit any turnovers, plays well against special teams, and that Jack Delone makes "smart" conservative throws. Carolina must NOT abandon the running game even if they get 2-3 yards a carry. This will keep New Englands defense "honest" and using alot of play action passes "could" hurt the New England defense. Carolina's field kicker MUST hit all his field goals. New England is facing a very tough defensive line and secondary but if you've watched the NFL and the "Pats", we all know that Tom Brady is very cool on the field, hardly makes few mistakes, and finds a way to win football games. I think New England will struggle to run the football?.
Tight ends on both teams should be a "factor" but who knows? If the Carolina defensive "front four(2 de's, 2 dt's) can get pressure on Tom Brady in the 2nd half and if it is a "2 possesion game", then the Pats" could be in some serious trouble? Carolina NEEDS to run the football between the guards& tackles, NOT outside. Look for some "trick" plays from both teams as well. Should the Patriots win this Superbowl, Tom Brady will move into the class of a "great" QB, instead of "good". Again, keep this thread clean and let's have fun!
Shoey :)
P.S My team didn't make the playoffs this year because he broke his leg(Superman Michael Vick) and needs to learn how to slide (hehe). I'm talking about the Atlanta Falcons so look out next year NFC! Lord I hope they sign Corey Dillion..?
