Office 2003 install errors Please Help

Hello

I'm having trouble installing Office 2003. When I tried to install it on a OEM version of Vista Home Premium SP1 I got an error that said:

"The system cannot read from the specified device"

I tried it on a laptop that didn't have office 03 and got the same message. The laptop had XP SP3 on it.

I was able to when I got this back in May to put it on 3 SP1 Vista machines. Any reasons why it's not working now?

I don't want this on the XP laptop it's the vista machine I want it on. Thanks!

does this message appear in installation? if so the disc is most likely damaged. some thing happened to me....
