I have a few wii ISO, some of which i have put onto disk and they play perfect. But do i need to do this. Can i just put the ISO's onto an external hard drive, plug into the wii and play the games this way?

We'll at least be able to run wad files (or some variation) from attachable storage. Iso's maybe not, unless someone homebrews up a nice Iso loader.
