Hi guys,

I'm having some problems with my Starview 2 box at the moment and I thought one of you might be able to help me out or point me in the right direction.

All my channels are gone!

They disappeared about a week ago so I reinstalled, making sure my EMU was on, but still nothing.

The thing that I can't figure out is that it shows up as having 111 TV channels on it but when I try to select one it says 'Scrambled or bad channel'?! I've just noticed that it shows Euronews and one or two others but only a handful out of the 111 it says it has.

I'm on the NTL network in Ireland and my system information is as follows:

API ver: 4.50e_E
Boot ver: 7.0
5.Jul.2007

I'm not using any cable splitters or anything like that, it's just plugged directly into the cable source.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Lauren

Depends on what Starview modem you have. Look at the "Guides" link at the bottom of my post. Then click on the Starview Updating Guide by Celt.

Hi guys,

I'm back again with another fairly similar problem :o(

I still have the same Starview (specs listed above) but now it won't update itself! I've just done a factory reset, turned on the EMU and set the default key (thanks Cactikid!!).

It tells me that I have all my channels but only shows one or two of them and the won't update any of the others :o(

Any ideas?

Thanks guys!

Lauren

Well Lauren, if you still have the same spec!!. as you have posted above, then that has not updated since the 17/18th Dec.08. (when did you last use your box?) - So you now need to flash your box with the current 4.57 A/U firmware which is in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post, and that will get you back up and running with all your channels back okay, anyway the link for the Firmware and Loader is here. >>>>>>>>>>
