I have a movie that is split into 2 different avi files. Does TMP author automatically join the split files into one? without causing sync problems with audio and video?

Also is there a setting where I can increase the brightness of the converted file? I notice that when i watch a dvd on my tv, its a bit darker then when watching it on my laptop screen.
