HDD won't unlock?

Hi,

I modded my xbox about 2 months ago and found that the MAC address keeps changing every time the system reboots. I googled around and after some research and troubleshooting, i believe that the eeprom is partially corrupted.

I've been trying to use configmagic to update my eeprom in hopes that it'll fix the mac address problem. However, when i try to unlock the HDD, it fails every time. I've tried the evoxdash unlock as well; doesn't work. Nothing else has been done to the xbox except the softmod and all the parts are original. Anyone got any ideas on how to unlock this stubborn hdd?


update: found out that my eeprom got erased with blank values. Luckily i still had my eeprom backup and it's in good shape (read it with liveinfo). Does anyone know how i can restore the eeprom?
