Hi, I just got a Datel memory card transfer kit and a 512Mb memory card for my iXtreme modded Xbox 360. I own Rock Band and I'm looking to download the newly released songs off the Internet (i.e. for free!) and transfer it onto my Xbox thru my Datel kit and the memory card.
My first question: is this possible?
Second question: I seem to be having trouble finding the drivers for my Datel kit and the 512Mb card for Windows Vista.
Can anyone help me??
Thanks!

put it this way; why should some people get the songs for free, when others rightfully and legally purchased them?
ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure
got a whole lot more to list . . .

I'm not sure if it is possible or not, but I'm constantly searching torrent sites and I've never seen any Rock Band songs or any Xbox downloadable content torrents. So that's a pretty clear sign that it might not be possible yet, or that it's too complicated for the average modder. If you find out how be sure to reply back.

Basically u have to already have them on someone's 360 HDD. hook that up to the XSATA or whatever you're using. Copy that data (the whole damn directory) to the PC. Use a resigner to resign the data to your console and put the fixed data and directory structure back on YOUR hdd.
Complicated as hell, requires more money than buying the songs (XSATA or whatever you use)and you could go to jail. This is blatant stealing. If you can't afford 1-2 bucks a song to PLAY, then get a job.
Edit - remember the OXM disc with the 3 free songs on the disc? Those songs were ripped and uploaded to a torrent. Proof that it's possible...

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but most responses have been so "useful" (people bashing b/c I wouldn't shell out the money... that's the whole point of these forums!!).
Have there been any advances? I know it's not too expensive to DL the songs, but it gets expensive in the long run if you want them all!
Thanks again

The point is not that we have not done it, the point is that it is against forum rules to promote piracy. Afterdawn would certainly not still be here if they were allowing people to post links to illegal material. You might get more responses if you tried asking the question without blatantly breaking forum rules (i.e. not getting copyrighted material for free).

I have a question that is semi-related. We have an Xbox 360 in the family room and I have purchased many (DL songs for Rock Band/2) I am going to get my kids another Xbox(arcade) for Christmas. If I take off the HDD off the xbox in the living room, and put in on the new xbox, will all the DL content work on the new box? Also, so that I don't have to keep switching the hdd from one xbox to another, can I copy the DL content from the hdd to the memory card?

The content should work on the other 360 as long as your loading the same profile. As far as the memory card goes i'm not sure but it might work if your using the same profile on both.

Hi Im new and this thread is close to what I am trying to do. My roommate and I are big Rock Band players and have bought most of the downloadable content. We are graduating (and moving to different places) but we both want the songs we paid for. Is there any way to copy the content off of my HDD to his without erasing mine?
