Hey guys, I recently downloaded dvdfab, shrink and image burn to a new system. starting over is a drag when your old system has worked out all of the kinks. now i'm running into new kinks. the system won't read the disk even with dvd fab decrypter on. i was able to rip one disk, but then I couldn't get it to read the next disk. what gives? thanks

What exactly happens when you are trying to get it to 'read the disc'?
Does the computer recognize the DVD? (IE can you play it in VLC?)
Have you tried multiple discs, if so please list the titles...

Hey Guys,
Here's the deal...I tried to burn Scorpion Kings 2 and Street Kings and the drive would not read the disk. I inserted Prom Night and there was no problem. I put the previous disk in and the same issue. Frustrated, I thought about Dvd Fix and there was success! The only problem is there is still some tweaking to do. Dvdfab downloaded the trial version and not the freeware and dvdshrink did not load the image burn in its file. Should I reinstall image burn? I don't know.
Thanks for your support again!

Where did you download your copy of DVD Shrink? If not from here at AD, try it. Delete your old and reinstall. Also as for DVDFab downloading the trial and not the free version, once the trial runs out you will still be able to use DVDFab free version.

I found two different instances of this exact error in shrink, with two different solutions. Not sure how relevant they are or if they will help but here they are.

Done and done, my good man!!
Well, my post was technically true. The mailman had knocked on my door and handed me my packages. I have a few websites I order from, as I prefer to get my movies delivered to me than go to the stores and purchase them.

I agree, with the price of fuel these days why not order and have your purchases delivered. Saves time and gas, not to mention often times it is cheaper than if you purchase locally.

Use dvd shrink to compress the files to be able to fit onto a dvd5 disk. From there you can use imgburn to burn the results to disk.
