8162b problems with Vista

I just got the 8162b DVD drive. I am running Vista. I am also running the drive via USB and IDE. I am having a hard time getting it to work correctly. Jumper is set to Master, and when I plugged it in it was searching for drivers. It just puts it as a generic USB device, and I cannot get it to work. Also, cannot find any drivers.. All that I am finding is a flash (and the flass is only recognizing my laptop drive so that won't help). Any ideas?
