Need to make an unstealthed back up

Hi this is probably not your normal request but I need to make an unstealthed back up (mad sounding I know) any ideas on how I can do this. Need to make one to check if I have iextreme on my 360 or not.

I believe Schtrom gives you the option to extract the game in Xtreme 2.0 format or even the game.iso by it's self. If you do the .iso by itself, make sure it still has the security sector in it. You do need that.

ok thank you I saw this but wasn't sure what it meant. Didn't know the difference between v2.0 and v3.0 and if the game.iso option was the complete disk or just a part of the disk and if only a part of the disk would work by on its own. Not too sure if i did the game.iso how I'd add the SS after.

If I did the v2.0 do you think that would work though for what I'm trying to do?

Try and rip it with Xtreme 2.0 and before you burn it, check it with XDVDMulleter. If the iXtreme compat box is unchecked, then you know it's not stealth.

One last thing I think if I have got iextreme it will be v1.0 did v1.0 stop all non stealthed games from working.

All versions of iXtreme stopped you from playing non-stealth games. iXtreme was the first firmware that did, it was everything before that which allowed you to play them stealth or non-stealth.

Question for you. Is there any reason why you would not just flash your drive to the latest version of iXtreme and be up to date? Then you would not have to test it, you would know what you have. Plus you should always keep your firmware up to date with the latest versions.

Unless of course you do not plan on using Xbox Live, Then it does not mater which firmware you have or if it is up to date.

Hi thanks for the reply, reason I can't update to the latest version is I don't have the equipment to do it was interested in buying the blaster or something like that before but I don't have a SATA conection on my laptop and from what I read a while ago couldn't get one to work work with my laptop as I only have a PCMCIA slot I think. Forgive me if I'm wrong and things have now changed now not looked into it for some time now.

I had to send it off to get it flashed cost me some like £60 with delivery and the flashing. I don't realy have the money to do that again and if I already have iextreme I wouldn't need to.

Bugger made a back up with Schtrom v2.0 ran it though XDVDMulleter, XDVDMulleter said about doing something to the video then something else about PFI can't rember now said yes to both, long story short, iextreme compatable unticked failed on DMI and the game worked in my xbox so I can't have iextreme, Bugger.

If you plan to go on Xbox Live i would REALLY reccomend that you get it reflashed to the latest version of iXtreme
