Just a weird coincidence.
the thing they did not tell us is that all of the consoles they sell currently are faulty, hopefully this will get fixed because it cost them billion in having to fix them all for free, and they lose a lot of face with the consumers.
I have two consoles and so far (crosses fingers) neither of them had gotten an RROD. But i also keep my house at about 70 degrees due to all of my electronics which is cooler then most people, so that may help.

This is MSs ultimate plan for fighting backups. They want every console to get the rrod every 6 months. That way when they get it in for repair, they can swap out the dvd drive with the latest, non-flashable (LiteOn) drives. Six months from now, after the LiteOn has already been hacked, you'll get the rrod again and they'll replace the drive with whatever new one they've just released. 8)

LOL, homesick, your picture looks like the phone lines in India. And just think this is where all of your customer service goes to.

I'm hoping you guys will be able to help me with my delima. I got a xbox 360 with rrod. Whoever tried to fix it, did a hack job. I went ahead and replaced washers and screws. For some reason, someone thought it would be a good idea to put a screw thru the bottom without checking to see if wires were going to be cut or damaged. Is this going to be a salvageable one or am i just wasting time? Thanks.
